Postpartum Depression~ not just for Moms
According to this article Dad's are affected as well. This really is something to think about when you notice baby has changed things in your home/ marriage.
If there seems to be problems that go a little deeper than ones associated with lack of sleep and the joys a new baby can bring to the family~ look a little deeper, as postpartum depression could be factoring into the home atmosphere. There is nothing to be ashamed about either. This is a medical condition & it happens. It by no means signifies you do not love the little miracle that just came into your world~ it just means you need to speak with your doctor, and monitor, possibly treat the condition. Saying something is so important, postpartum depression can be monitored and the symptoms can be improved/ controlled with the proper help.
