Re: Chris Benoit (the Wrestler.kills wife, child, then self)
I just read this prior to leaving my office today~ what a tragedy.
I am not a fan of wresting (I was a million years ago). My Grandmother of all people was friends with Bruno Samartino & Lou Albano. Bruno actually had a roadside sandwich stand about 7 miles from here. Because Bruno had a few of his accounts at the bank my Grandmother managed and they were good friends we were given tickets to wresting when it came to Pittsburgh and we met just about everyone who came through: Andre the Giant, The Animal George Steel, Puluski, SuperFly Jimmy Snuka, anyone from that era before Wresting became what it is today (a man's soap opera).
Regardless what profession Benoit was in this is a tragedy and it is one that could have been prevented. If steroids are determined to be the cause, I do hope that these 3 deaths aren't in vain and people who continue to use steroids in order to pad their bank account realize there isn't a balance or public notoriety achievable that justifies abusing steroids.

Truly tragic news. I can't imagine what drove him to that point.

Steroids.
