Re: Nascar
My parents adore Jimmie Johnson, my husband says anyone but Jeff Gordon, and I'm split between Kahne and Little E. It's fun getting around the TV with such differences of opinion.

Re: Nascar
Nice site. Yeah I haven't been keeping up as much as I'd like (I just moved a week ago and don't have cable set up yet.) So I'll get back into the swing of things, who's in the lead now? It was Gordon I think when I stopped watching.
What's your thoughts on Little E's transition to Henrick next year? Poor guy's had it rough with DEI for a while now.

Re: Nascar
I'm sad in the fact the Greatest driver in any motor-racing disipline has now retired.

the move to Hendrick
hmmm.
I am not sure how I feel.
I was a huge Senior supporter forever, and even then I started to like Gordon when he was a rookie and Senior would tease him.
But as the years went by I started to pay attention to Junior in the Busch Series, gave up on Gordon, he is a little weasel, lol .
But after the death of his father and the horrible plane crash that took Ricks only son Ricky, it's only natural that those to would comfort each other. They were all good friends b4.
But it's not like Rick is going to replace Dale or Junior is going to replace Ricky, they just have that common bond and can grieve together.
I do think they will make a helluva team esp with Johnson and Gordon. Not to mention the best of everything in their garages.
It just doesn't feel right for Junior to all of a sudden be the new team-mate of someone the majority of his supporters "hate" so that I think will be the biggest hurdle for ALL of US junior fans to get over.
Just like at TALLADEGA a few years ago, we were there in person to witness it.... earnhardt owns that track, and was getting ready to bring home another victory when all of a sudden caution comes out and junior was clearly in the lead, but when the green resumes, the idiots had GORDON out from of JUNIOR...something aint right. >(the caution was brought out by VICKERS) - teammate of GORDON at the time-He threw something out his window to CAUSE THE CAUTION !!!
He was not in the lead when the yellow dropped.
The stands FREAKED OUT. Seriously Freaked.
People started throwing beer cans, beer bottles, pop cans, anything they could throw on the track they did, coolers even made it to the track....as gordon ran around waving at the stands for his win the entire track threw garbage at him....
must feel good to be the best.
So what does that say about Gordon, well he's not that well liked when you compare him against Junior.
So as far as them being new BFF, I am not sure how next year is going to go...
Hopefully he will at least give me a WIN !!!
as far as Ms. Earnhardt goes....well thats a "hole" other post....
ok maybe I know how I feel... a little....
