Do you take advantage of registering with the Do Not Call Registry?
When I found out about this I know I jumped right at it. As you will see here:
Do Not Call Registry Info Thread ~ it is time once again for most people to update their registration information.
I do not enjoy telemarketing calls. I realize the person on the other end is trying to support themselves and their family and it's better than not having any type of job. That being said I do not want unsolicited phone calls. Our home phone ringers are turned off. We all carry a mobile and I have the ones in the home for emergency purposes. The telemarketing calls at one tie were unbearable and came any time of the day or night, even early morning on the weekends.
So do you register? And are you polite when you receive the unsolicited calls or have you been know to completely lose it on the caller? I will admit I have lost it. If they catch me at the wrong time Ms. Acid Tongue comes out and I have let them have it. Other times I am polite though.

I registered my land line when I had one, but I only use a cell now. So far I have not received telemarketing calls on my cell and for that reason I have not registered my cell number. I don't want it on a list of numbers to not call, which would then become a list of numbers TO call after a certain period of time. You really should be able to opt out for all time from telemarketing calls and junk mail.
