Hoblin Goblin Vote Thread

I really want to thank all of the boards that joined in the Hoblin Goblin.

I didn't know what to expect, but I had a game plan that because of personal circumstances didn't come to fruition, as I had hoped. My Grandfather has been very ill this month, so my dedication to the Hoblin Goblin was forced to take a bit of a backseat as I tended to family matters. I appreciate greatly everyone's understanding in not being too hard on me for hosting and not being able to take the time with this that I had originally planned. Thank you all, very much.

As you know the winner is determined by a combination of runboard member's votes, as well as judges opinion. I felt this allowed all boards regardless of size “even odds”. This is purely cosmetic. It's a contest like any other costume contest a person attends or has watched in real life. Coolest Ghoul wins.

The vote itself speaks very clearly ~ The Cornfield swept that portion of this competition. How could it be Halloween without a Cornfield emoticon? Judges choices (there were multiple ~ differed). But there was a clear decisive winner. I would like folks to know the judges selected had no personal involvement with any of the boards. I was able to select folks who I knew for certain had no personal attachment to the boards eligible for the prize (this was very important to me). Additionally I asked a few people here at work to vote and none of these folks here know about runboard (and I like it that way... can't bust myself slacking emoticon ) So I was able to have judging that I feel good about and know for certain ~ isn't clique voting. For dress up there are no cliques.

Everyone did such a great job with their decorating. Very Cool. We are going to finish this out a little different than I had intended when this all began. I just didn't have the time to tend to this as I had hoped in an attempt to be fair and fun for all there will actually be 2 awards... emoticon

Judge's Choice & Voter's Choice

Judges Choice for Best All Around Complete Dress is: JJ's House of Rock and Roll emoticon

And Voters Choice of Coolest Ghoul: The Cornfield emoticon

Thank you everyone. I hope that is was enjoyed by all. I hope everyone had a Great Halloween. I will private message board owner & admin to distribute the prizes.

Darn, missed the vote, but if I did it would of been for JJ's site and the cornfield coming in a very close second
